After reading another post on here about using ram air to feed the MAF by removing the nose pannel, it got me to thinking. We should be able to get a rough number as to the velocity of the air going through the MAF at WOT at max RPM. Ram air works well at a specific speed because the system is usually designed to operate at that speed. As velocities increase most of the time the benefit of ram air is lost. Was just thinking about it. I'm about 2,000 miles from the books that would help me calculate this so any thoughts anyone? Maybe Ash?
